Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Training is back! January 29 -31, 2021 @Prana Shanti
This important course is designed for anyone who works with the Prenatal and Postnatal population, including yoga teachers, fitness instructors, doulas and other health professionals as well as parents-to-be.
We will look at practices for each stage including support for fertility, partner yoga for pregnancy and labour, postpartum recovery and parent/baby yoga. Resources will also be provided in the event of pregnancy loss.
Topics include pelvic floor issues, diastasis recti & scar care and teaching to online students.
This is a fun and comprehensive weekend training program. My goal is for students to understand the pre and postnatal body and feel confident modifying their own practice to suit their individual needs and goals.
As instructors, you will feel more capable and confident, your classes will be more accessible and welcoming, and make you stand out as a skilled yoga teacher!

24 Hr Yogapalooza I am extremely honored to be part of this incredible event once again!
This amazing event raises funds and awareness for cancer research at CHEO and wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of all the volunteers and sponsors!
There are two main events starting this Friday, Sept. 24th
24 Day Yoga Challenge -The main event runs from Oct. 2 - 25. Each day, 1 pre-recorded video/yoga class will be released. Anyone who registers is invited to participate in a 24 day/hr challenge by attending as many classes as they like!
1 hour Yoga Therapy Session or Private Yoga Class with Melissa. Online or in-person.
A Yoga Therapy or private session is a personalized way to begin or refine your yoga practice. Offering a therapeutic approach using practical tools, I work with you to design a practice that addresses your specific needs. Props such as mats, blocks, straps and balls are provided. Individuals will be asked to sign a waiver and intake form before the first session.
