Hatha Yoga (all-levels) Monday 7:30-8:30pm Ha-tha translates as "sun" and "moon" and refers to finding balance. My style is lighthearted and each practice is sprinkled with practical ways you can incorporate into your daily lives. Whether it's a pose to release tension or a breathwork to calm your mind. This class is open to ALL. No experience necessary. Treat yourself to this one hour just for YOU!
Core Restore Wednesday 7:30-8:30pm Working from the inside out (deep core & pelvic floor), this dynamic practice targets core muscles with a strong emphasis on proper breathing & posture. It incorporates poses that build strength, balance and fluidity. With added variations, this class is suitable for all levels and anyone wanting to safely strengthen or rebuild their core including those with diastasis recti or recovering from abdominal surgery such as c-section.For this class, you will need your mat, blocks and 5-10lb weight or ball. Please note: Babies are welcome but the focus is on the mom!
Prenatal Yoga Thursday 7:30-8:30pm Move your body in ways that feel good and help alleviate some of the common effects of pregnancy. You will learn breathing and relaxation techniques, as well as simple postures that can be beneficial for pregnancy, labour and motherhood. Feel free to bring your partner to learn some of the techniques!
